Location information. We collect users’ location data to enable rides, provide user support, ensure safety, detect fraud, and comply with legal requirements. We collect location information (including GPS coordinates and WiFi data) based on your InRide app settings and device permissions.
Passengers. We collect your device’s precise location when the app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) and when the app is running in the background (app open but not on-screen) from the time you request a ride until it ends. Passengers may use the app without enabling it to collect precise location data from their mobile devices by directly inputting the pick-up and drop-off address or coordinates into the app.
Drivers.We collect your device’s precise location when the app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) and when the app is running in the background (app open but not on-screen) in the Driver mode. We may also collect precise location for a limited time after you exit Driver mode to detect and investigate ride incidents.
Payment information. We collect transaction information related to the services provided via InRide, including amount charged, payment transaction information, date and time the service was provided, route and distance traveled.
Communication and correspondence. We enable users to communicate with each other and with us through the Platform. To facilitate this, we receive data about the time and date of the communications and the content. We may use this data to provide user support and resolve disputes between users, identify violations of InRide rules, ensure safety, and improve our Platform.
Device information. We collect information about the device you use to access InRide, such as your device name, brand and model, user agent, IP address, mobile carrier, network type, time zone settings, language settings, advertising identifiers, browser type, operating system and its version, and installed applications that can be used for authentication and anti-fraud purposes. We may also collect mobile sensor data, such as speed, direction, altitude, acceleration, deceleration, and other technical data.
Data about the usage of the transportation services. things like data about journey status, times and data about your conduct as assessed by drivers.Data related to communication through instant messages directly in the InRide app ("Chat with Driver" option): date and time of the communication and its content.

Additionally, we help you locate the nearest available hire vehicles, such as cars and other types of logistics services. Instant messages within the InRide app are processed to provide customer support, resolve disputes, enhance security, improve our products and services, and perform analytical assessments.
Streamlining Your Ride. To make your journey seamless, we share geolocation data and passenger phone numbers with drivers during ride-hailing. This ensures efficient navigation and transparent routes. Geolocation data is collected only when the InRide app is active and ceases once the app is closed.
Ensuring Your Journey's Success. We utilize geolocation data to ensure you reach your destination smoothly and to address quality-related issues related to our services. Knowing your drop-off location allows us to accurately bill for the service, and manage our fleet effectively.
Optimizing the App. Your contact details are used to notify you of updates to the InRide app, ensuring that you can continue enjoying our services seamlessly. We also collect limited data from your device to provide internet, mobile, and telephone services while maintaining account security through authentication and verification checks.
Enhancing Convenience. To provide you with the quickest, most cost-effective, and convenient rides, we gather data on passenger and rider routes for geographic analysis. This information helps us improve route recommendations to drivers and ensures that they hire vehicles.
Facilitating Payments. We collect payment details to process passenger payments on behalf of drivers for ride-hailing services.
Maintaining Standards. We gather data on journey statuses, time, and passenger ratings based on driver feedback. Customer support data and correspondence are collected to gather feedback and address disputes and service quality matters.
Keeping You Informed. We utilize your name, phone number, and email address for communication purposes. This includes notifying you when your journey is completed, sending trip confirmation receipts, and informing you of important service updates, such as the suspension of scooter hire during adverse weather conditions.

Passenger Information Shared with Driver. This includes your name, profile picture (if uploaded), rating, pickup and drop-off locations, trip count, offered fare, comments, and contact information. In regions where we require national ID numbers, we may also indicate whether you've submitted this number, without sharing the ID number itself.
Driver Information Shared with Passenger. Passengers receive the driver's full name, profile picture, vehicle details and photo, location before and during the trip, driver ratings and reviews, trip count, age (for certain features), and contact information.
When necessary to provide passengers with receipts and invoices, we may share trip details, including the origin and destination of the trip, total duration and distance, fare breakdown, driver's name, taxation identifier number, and other legally required information.

For services beyond transportation provided through InRide, we'll share the information necessary for the provision of such services with other users.

These providers offer services such as payment processing, user and technical support, background checks, identity verification, insurance, cloud storage, content delivery, in-app messaging, in-app calling, push notifications, anti-fraud measures, advertising, marketing, analytics (including AppsFlyer,clevertap), research, surveys, bonus payments, and professional services (consultants, lawyers, accountants, auditors). Additionally, we may share information with airports as needed.
Certain partners process data independently for their own purposes, and we don't control their processing. This includes Google (related to Google Maps) and social media companies (including Meta) for our use of their tools.
